Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Sales Force Software Development Director to drive the success of our digital experience initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of customized Salesforce solutions within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering quality solutions that meet our business needs.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Lead the development of customized Salesforce solutions that meet our business needs.

Manage and mentor the development team, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for professional growth.

Define our Salesforce development standards and best practices.

Drive innovation and exploration of new technologies to enhance our Salesforce capabilities.

Ensure that solutions are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.

Stay current with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and trends.

Assist with product integrations from start to finish to ensure they meet business needs and fulfill business, reporting and scalability requirements.

Identify opportunities for testing and product enhancements based on results.

Provide strategic direction focusing on delivering high-quality, customer-centric digital experiences.

Oversee the design, development, and implementation of custom Salesforce applications, ensuring seamless integration with other business systems.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure solutions are integrated and meet overall business objectives.

Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of Salesforce solutions.

Drive the adoption of agile methodologies and continuous improvement processes to enhance team productivity and product quality.

Drive a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer focus within the development team.

Complies with all company and departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Competencies Required:

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

At least 10 years of software development experience, with a focus on Salesforce development with Auto Cloud and Apex Development.

Experience with MuleSoft API Integration.

A minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership or management role

Proven experience in developing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions, including custom applications, integrations, and process automation.

Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills to develop the Finance Captive of the future.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications Preferred:

Experience in Agile development methodologies and practices

Experience with Auto Cloud or other CDP

Experience managing onshore/offshore teams

Mentor and develop staff using a collaborative approach.

Monitor staff performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives and priorities, conduct performance appraisals, monitor and evaluate results.

Possess strong knowledge of current Technical Salesforce Development and MuleSoft/Services Software and Standards.

Deliver projects on time, within budget and to specifications.

Will be working directly with Sr IT Leadership team.

Manage third party technical staff and software vendors in the delivery of technology solutions.

Master s degree Preferred.

Salesforce certifications, such as Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or System Architect, are highly desirable.

Travel 10%

Location - Must live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI; Houston, TX
