Position Summary:

Our HR specialist plays an important role, in welcoming new staff, and assisting them with their onboarding.  In this role you will be communicating with new hires, building rapport, ordering background checks and scheduling drug screens.   The specialist is also responsible for creating and maintaining both electronic and paper files for staff.   Other duties include answer staff questions, data entry in the HRIS (ADP) and  assisting the HR director with administrative task, such as assembling orientation packets, creating flyers, and ordering supplies.   


The HR specialist is someone who loves organization, they are computer literate and are comfortable with technology.   Must have great customer service skills and be self directed 

High School Diploma or equivalent. 

Minimum of 2 years administrative experience, preferably performing a combination of HR and administrative job duties. Knowledge of current employment laws and regulations, Strong Communications and organizational skills.
