We are looking for an assistant quantity surveyor to join our client, a leading house builder in the Monmouthshire area. As an assistant quantity surveyor, you will be responsible for assisting the senior quantity surveyor in managing the costs and budgets of various residential projects. You will also be involved in preparing tenders, contracts, invoices, valuations and claims.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in quantity surveying or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. You will also need to have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as strong numerical and analytical abilities. You will be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines, as well as work collaboratively with other members of the project team.
