Description

We are looking for a qualified and experienced quantity surveyor to join our client, a leading house builder in the Swindon area. As a quantity surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the costs and budgets of various residential projects, from initial feasibility studies to final accounts. You will work closely with the site managers, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants to ensure that the projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will also monitor and report on the financial performance of the projects, identify and mitigate any risks, and liaise with the clients and stakeholders.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

- A degree in quantity surveying or a related discipline
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a quantity surveyor in the house building sector
- A valid CSCS card and a full UK driving licence
- Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software packages
- A proactive, flexible and team-oriented approach
