The Research Solutions SBUis focused on innovating the foundation of FactSets product offering. By marrying robust content, intuitive applications, and innovative technology, we defend and grow our footprint across several key user classes including investment banking, sell-side research, buy-side research, private equity, portfolio managers, traders, capital markets, investor relations, and media. This SBU contains Core Applications (Universal Screening, Company & Security Analytics, Industry and Markets, Filings, Ownership, Research, News, Charting) and our industry leading RMS suite. The SBU closely partners with the Content and Platform Horizontals on strategy for FactSet Web, Mobile, and much of FactSets content offering.



This Senior Product Manager will own the strategic road map and oversee the execution that roadmap for two of our highest usage applications: News & Calendars. They will oversee multiple scrum teams and be responsible for a small team of product managers. This individual will also have a primary voice in the messaging of our products and road map. The teams current focus includes many high profile, exciting projects, such as the launch of a new StreetAccount news product, integration of 3rd party data into our calendars and the further deployment of our next generation news applications. The ideal candidate will have deep product management skills, experience with Scrum/Agile, and be comfortable directing teams. We are seeking a collaborative yet self-directed difference maker who wants the incremental value of their projects to lead to meaningful impact. They should have a curiosity and empathy for our users and be able to provide perspective on how we can improve their experiences in the near, medium and long terms. Experience with documents and tagging are favorable.



Direct responsibilities include:



- Be the Product Owner for News & Calendar work



- Own and communicate out the road map for the teams



- Effectively and accurately communicate our development process and deliverables



- Help to continuously improve our Agile process



- Be an inclusive, effective manager for the product managers reporting to you



- Bring a meaningful voice to the strategic direction of our product suite

- A very strong ability to execute multiple projects on time and a history of doing so



- A strong desire to manage effectively and cultivate talent



- A keen understanding of our users and their workflows



- Ability to coordinate effectively with our dependent teams



- A want to understand the technical challenges of projects

Qualifications



- Bachelors degree desirable, or equivalent work experience



- Strong understanding of client workflows



- Exceptional collaboration, organizational & communication skills



- Detail-oriented with ability to see the big picture



- Minimum of 7 years of experience with strong performance history (preferably working with documents, data, content, or analytics)
