Assistant Director, Institutional Research

Assists the Director with the compliance and analysis functions of the Office of Institutional Research.

Assists the Director with the planning, design, implementation and administration of the Office of Institutional Research (IR) operations.

Supervises professional staff responsible for data management and compliance reporting.

Assists the Director with the coordination of data reporting requirements between IR and other business units; provides data access for department and college end users.

Collaborates and interacts with business units and outside constituents to meet reporting needs and ensure accurate data.

Participates in the development of departmental procedures for gathering, processing and disseminating data to the University community and outside constituents.

Conducts analyses of data and prepares complex statistical and analytical reports.

Serve as primary liaison for conversion of data in the student administration, finance and human resources systems.

Participates in the development of a data warehouse.

Reviews and monitors application logic for efficacy, and extractions for accuracy. Performs other 0ther job-related duties as required.

Doctoral and 3 years experience



Requires singular knowledge of a specialized advanced professional discipline or the highest level of general business knowledge, normally acquired through attainment of a directly job-related terminal degree or equivalent formal training in a recognized field of specialization that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience.



Additional Posting Information:



The ability to take initiative, problem-solve, exercise excellent judgment and critical thinking skills, and multi-task and adapt to changing circumstances and shifting priorities in a high-profile environment. Experience with Tableau a plus.



Experience will be counted in lieu of education. Only applicants with Terminal degrees will be considered.
