Develops and implements a comprehensive donor relations program (including acknowledgments, gift stewardship, donor reports, signage and donor societies) operated from the central office of University Advancement. Provides leadership, staff management and budget oversight for several significant donor relations and stewardship programs. The candidate will be experienced in the field of Donor Relations and Stewardship and be prepared to serve as a leader in this area of increased focus.

Assists the Director with strategic planning for Donor Relations and Stewardship to help deploy resources, develop evaluation measures and ensure consistent high quality work. Collaborate on developing and monitoring intended outcomes for each project.

Take lead role in bringing four donor societies to full fruition. (to include inductions, calendaring and executing annual communications and engagement plans and evaluation for a lifetime giving society, a planned giving society, a corporate donor society and a loyalty donor cohort)

Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan (budget, resources) with realistic goals and schedules for a university-wide stewardship program to include comprehensive impact reporting.

Evaluate and revise as needed multiple donor relations efforts, to include gift acknowledgment process, publications, online community, donor signage and a wide variety of recognition opportunities based on best practices in the field.

Manage impact reporting, endowed chairs and professorships recognition, and the Presidents Football pregame donor experience in partnership with University Advancement.

Oversee donor, prospect, and volunteer gift programs, including vendor indemnification, product development and distribution.

Lead the development of comprehensive engagement plans for donors to centrally manage scholarships.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Bachelors and 5 years experience



Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of five(5) years of directly job-related experience.
