Infrastructure Support Engineer 

Sheffield

Upto to £40k + £On Call + Funded Certified Training

Our client now has 3 great new requirements as part of thier continued expansion and to help build out their Infrastructure Support team based out of their Sheffield office and is looking for ambitious technology professionals to build their careers within a number of different large enterprise services clients (*from 2k - 10k users). Mostly in enterprise public sector, they need skills to build a cross functional team in line with thier vendor relationship and client hybrid infrastructures and so require different technologies including:

Active Directory / Azure AD (premium)
Office 365 (OneDrive/Outlook etc .. )
Security inc' EM+S  / AIP  
Hybrid IT / Private Cloud
On premise ( P + V Servers for some clients) 
SCCM / Intune / Datto
VMware products vcenter/vsphere etc   
Citrix/Citrix Cloud 
Cloud Networking
CISCO - Switches / Routers / Firewalls /Wifi 
Enterprise back and antivirus products
PowerShell / automation tools
DevOps principles
Windows through to 10
ITIL principles

As an Infrastructure team engineer, you will deal with complex infrastructure requirements including some projects, acting as an escalation point and the monitoring of client's infrastructure ecosystems working with the varied levels of service desk teams and the different teams across problem/incident/transition and change management.  You will collaborate with like-minded professionals and leaders to question, work together and find solutions for complex and challenging situations that need to be resolved.
