Kapow empowers customers to drive stakeholder collaboration, boost attendance, fill pipeline, measure success and produce bottom-line results from their event programs.

We have multiple openings for experienced sales professionals, whose main responsibilities will be landing, expanding and managing relationships with our local venue partners. This will be required demonstrating solution-selling and total account management skills. The goal: to grow overall partnerships and increase Kapows marketplace inventory. We are looking for experienced, collaborative and creative sellers to expand our market share across the hospitality industry

What You Will Be Doing

- Develop partnerships with venues through cold calls and by leveraging your existing network to create unique dinners, cocktail, and interactive experiences, suited for corporate events

- Compile and actively pursue list of targeted accounts, including new partners, and create individual plans of action to penetrate these accounts

- Negotiate commercial terms with partners to ensure mutual value creation

- Partner with venue and marketing to ensure experiences are accurate and appropriately merchandised on site

- Ensure venue feedback as it relates to Kapow tools and processes is shared with the appropriate stakeholders

- Work with property-level sales teams as well as other departments to ensure customer satisfaction, share feedback, and customize collateral and sales positioning

- Analyze performance data and provide insights and recommendations to key stakeholders based on findings

- Perform other duties as assigned

What You Need for this Position

- Bachelors degree is required (strong academic performance is desired)

- 4-6 years of proven relationship building in the hospitality industry (bars, restaurants, retailers, hotels, beverage sales, etc.)

- Infectious passion about the benefits of technology and digital marketing

- Proven ability to negotiate

- Salesforce and/or event management software experience

- Familiarity with a high outbound call volume and high talk time sales environment

- Effective at integrating knowledge from prospecting, consultative selling, product demonstrations, negotiating contracts, operation/process flow, and product function

- Strong sense of initiative and personal leadership demonstrating the ability to function independently while contributing to team initiatives

- Demonstrated ability to solve problems, develop and share sales best practices across teams

- Can do attitude, sense of humor, and desire to have fun
