Very exciting permanent position for an inspirational Social care provider based in Wickwar. Brand new home

Your new company
One of my favourite organisations to recruit for! Led by an inspirational team who really demonstrate their passion for supporting young people. This is a family run business who have specialised in working with young people 16+ within Supported living accommodation. Having opened their doors in 2016, they have built and experienced and passionate team around them to provide exceptional support to the people using their service. It is exciting times within this company, they are in the process of opening up a brand new residential children's home based in Wickwar, Gloucestershire.

Your new role
This job is to work as a Support worker within the residential children's service. You will play a vital part in supporting the children living within the home. As a Support worker you will work closely with the young people to act as a support emotionally, as well as working closely with the children to achieve outcomes set by the
organisation. Ultimately, you will help develop the children into successful independent young adults.

This is such an exciting opportunity as you will have a chance to help shape and influence the running of the home, bringing in your prior experience with great scope to grow with the company. As this is a new home, the organisation can work with you to shape a rota to suit a working a pattern that works for you, as well as support you with ongoing career development with niche areas of training.

What you'll need to succeed
As this is a new home you must have an NVQ level three in children and young people, due to the rural location of the home, it is also important that you hold your own driving licence and have access to a car. It is important that you can demonstrate an understanding of therapeutic work with young people, safeguarding as well as complex needs such as EBD, PTSD, Sexualised behaviour and Attachment needs.
