About the role
Looking for a flexible, rewarding role in secondary education? Whether you’re an aspiring teacher, recent graduate, or experienced educator seeking part-time work, this cover supervisor opportunity in Barnet is ideal for gaining classroom experience while working to suit your schedule. Starting from September 2025, you’ll be placed in a variety of supportive, high-achieving secondary schools.

Key responsibilities
• Deliver pre-planned lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 in the absence of the class teacher
• Maintain a positive, focused classroom environment and manage behaviour effectively
• Engage students in learning while ensuring continuity of education
• Provide feedback to teaching staff and follow school protocols
• Be a reliable and professional presence in the classroom

We’re looking for
• Experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, coaching, youth work, education)
• Confident communication and strong classroom presence
• Organised, proactive, and dependable individuals
• Enthusiastic about supporting young learners and contributing to their success
