Protocol Education are looking for creative experienced teaching assistants from backgrounds such as acting, drama, music who can utilise & transfer their skills to a primary special needs setting. As a teaching assistant you will be supporting students on a one to one basis as well as supporting the class teacher and team. Successful candidates will encourage students development, engage through sensory play & interaction, understanding social cues & skills, teaching communication and enabling students to manage their behaviours.

Main Duties

Engaging students through interactive and creative activities such as art, music and P.E
Assisting students with sensory integration within the classroom
Teaching students to process emotions and understand their behaviours
Ensuring the schools ethos and policies are being implemented
Working together as part of a team
