Advancing People are working closely with an International Software business who are looking for a proven Client Manager, working remotely, whilst being able to visit their office based in Bedford or Poole on a monthly basis once their offices reopen.

Our client is looking to interview immediately and will on-board a suitable candidate ASAP.

The role:

This varied and challenging Client Manager role will remotely manage multiple accounts, within a specific sector.

You will be responsible for progressing qualified leads from the proven marketing function through a proven consultative sales process, uncovering new opportunities and identifying the correct decision makers within large scale businesses.

Alongside this you will be looking for opportunities to upsell and cross sell into existing accounts. Another key part of the role is to retain and up sell service contracts into allocated accounts, ensuring renewals and client satisfaction in the service delivered.

You will have accountability to continually create sales revenues from specified accounts whilst managing your own new business pipeline and existing accounts, this can be around 70 in total. Accurate use of the CRM for communications is essential.

Experience required:

Joining an established team of Business Development Executives, you will already have a track record as a Client Manager, preferably selling a service or product to large/medium sized business, with a longer lead time, demonstrating a genuine consultative and fact-finding approach.

A true team player, you will be working closely with other team members and Key Account Managers. With the ability to have the right conversations at the right level of detail with the right contacts, you will have licence to talk freely with clients' in order to build a relationship and to truly understand their business needs and gaps to provide the right product and service for.

You will offer stability in your sales career to date and will be looking for your next long term career move with a forward-thinking company that can offer excellent training and support, every step of the way.

You will be competent over the phone and electronically, with the ability to utilise the many tools available to progress leads and upsell existing accounts, working independently but also collaboratively as part of a wider remote team.

As a confident and consultative communicator, you will be able to demonstrate you have dealt with clients up to C Level and have the ability research, engage, fact find and deliver solutions in an influencing and professional manner.

Experience of Contact Centre solutions or Software/ Operating systems is an advantage, but not essential.

Whilst you will be expected to source the right decision makers with the dedicated clients you are looking to approach, there is also an established marketing team in-house to provide qualified leads and support to succeed in the role.

You will be given a laptop, soft phone and all the tools you need for the role, along with a supportive line manager that has been with the business for over 10 years, our client have a track record of developing staff and empowering them to be free-thinking in the role and not to work from a script.

There is a competitive basic salary available for this Client Manager role, plus bonus and benefits with full ongoing support and training.
