JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT The General Manager will lead and develop our strategy, sales and operations teams and processes to achieve revenue targets. We seek an experienced professional who will provide strategic vision and tactical direction while overseeing and directing the responsibilities of employees. In this role, you will be responsible for team engagement, community enrichment, talent development as well as all aspects of the location P & L. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Leading team and managing location in all aspects of business responsibilities including developing business plans that ensure goals are met, P & L, balanced scorecards, SQI, engagement, safety programs, community enrichment and contract management Organize and coordinate sales operations in a specified geographical area. Evaluate market potential and the status of sales in the area. Plan and organize sales projects and activities for a geographical area. Identify potential customers and nurture existing customer relationships. Plan, develop and deliver the marketing strategy for products, services and associated brand(s). Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs. Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of six years of related work experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Three years of supervisory experience Beef, pork, poultry sales background Distribution & Logistics experience Experience managing & leading diverse team(s) Experience with SAP & Power BI Can identify customer and market opportunities and then work towards these by operating on a multi-level, cross-functional basis. Experience working on innovation teams or in creative environment Strong understanding of sales cycle including pre/post sales call planning skills. Strong negotiation and selling skills/experience.
