Description

A long established Global Records Management organisation is recruiting for a Post Room Manager. One of the largest Records Management service providers in Europe, this company operates in over 49 locations and is a major player in their field.

This role is temporary during a 3 month probation period with the opportunity of being offered a permanent position after probation for the successful candidate. You are required to work Monday to Friday, 9 to 5.

Reporting to the Digital Solutions Manager you will be the main point of contact for your customer, assisting with queries and any issues your customer may have. Therefore excellent customer service skills are required and the ability to remain calm under pressure, maintain excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and problem solve in a timely and efficient manner.

The Post Room Manager is responsible for a team of 6 Post Room Assistants, allocating post room tasks such as document scanning and the delivery of private and confidential post to managers. All team members work towards meeting KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and it is the role of the Post Room Manager to monitor, assess areas for improvement and implement plans to support each team member. Team member appraisals are also undertaken on a regular basis.
