Licensing Manager Job Description

Fetch for Pets is actively seeking a Licensing Manager to join our Licensing

team! Fetch develops a wide variety of products for pets across all categories

that can be found at all major retailers. The number one priority of this role

is to protect our brands and ensure everything Fetch does follows brand

standards. The ideal candidate will be solution oriented, highly organized and

can think outside of the box to proficiently manage the product development

approvals process and be the go-to source for brand knowledge and

communication. This position is based in our New York office and will report to

the Director of Business Development.

What youll do

* Manage and develop licensing relationships Manages product approvals for

10+ licenses from concept through to production.

* Day-to-day liaison between product development and Licensor.

* Be the brand ambassador, protector and expert. Serve as the gatekeeper of

the brand, reviewing all products, materials and content to ensure all

align with the brand and business strategy.

* Know everything there is to know about our licensing programs including

retail strategy, sales successes and challenges, key retail accounts,

product development plans and strategy, marketing plans, customer service

issues, etc.

* Manage trade marketing including tradeshows, press releases, coupons,


* Work closely with Licensors to understand their business needs and to

explore opportunities for growth

* Communicate effectively with team members to understand their issues to

best support how to resolve them.

* Prepares quarterly sales recaps and brand overviews

* Regularly scheduled calls to review product development, sales and

marketing updates.

* Supply management with updates on licensor needs, interests, activities,

and potential for new product opportunities.

* Stay abreast of recent industry trends

* Attend industry events


* 3+ years of licensing experience

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Proven skills in problem-solving, organization, attention to detail

and priority setting

* Highly collaborative team player who can work independently with minimal


* Strong interpersonal skills; friendly, compassionate and highly

professional demeanor
