Chester DO 701 Crosby St, Suite C, Chester 19013 (Delaware County)

Norristown Sub office 1961 New Hope St, Norristown 19401 (Montgomery County)


A Parole Agent 1 is trainee level workin the supervision of parolees (Field Operations) or professional parole counseling of offenders preparing for release from an institution (State Correctional Institution).

Field Operations: Agents are assigned state vehicles to ensure they can meet with parolees where they live and work. They work within the community to supervise and guide the transition and integration of parolees. Parole supervision is much more than working one-on-one with a parolee. It encompasses coordination and consultation with a parolees employer, counselors and family members.

Successfulcompletion of the 12-month training/probationary period will result in a promotion to Parole Agent 2 with an increase in salary!

New employees hired or transferred into a Parole Agent position will be required to remain within the appointing seniority unit for a minimum period of two (2) years from the initial date of the appointment or transfer.
