THE POSITION

Work Hours: 8:30 am-4:30 pm (M-F) with a 30 minute lunch.



DESCRIPTION OF WORK



The incumbent will work under the direction of the Mental Health Director and under the general supervision of the Deputy Mental Health Administrator. The Case Worker 1 will be responsible for a variety of duties relating to overall mental health services in the County.



- System of Care responsibilities: Family Engagement Workgroup; County Leadership Team, Human Services Trauma Informed Change Team; Asset Inventory; Childrens Mental Health Awareness; Youth & Family programs; Cultural Brokers.



- Responsible for dispatching all daytime crisis line calls to the Delaware County Crisis Connections Team (DCCCT). Gather essential information from callers and dispatch the team to the location. Provide dispatch and communication support services for the DCCCT. Ask vital questions and provide pre-arrival instructions for the DCCCT. Ask questions to assist the DCCCT with their assessment. Enter and modify information into a computer database.
