Description The Lead, Associate Communications is responsible for the content strategy and development of creative multimedia content for the corporate intranet. The individual works in close collaboration with our HR and IT colleagues and is accountable for influencing technology upgrades that improve the associate experience with news content and reflect communications best practices. The role requires strong collaboration across all communications functions to increase understanding of our business and customers and engage Humana associates at all levels of the organization. Responsibilities RESPONSIBILITIES + Lead content strategy development and day-to-day management of intranet news feed. + Deliver relevant and engaging content that reinforces culture change initiatives, business understanding and overall associate engagement. + Grow readership of news content. + Seek to continuously improve and develop creative multimedia content and compelling storytelling packages that reinforces Humanas brand and customer-centric approach. + Influence the addition of new technology to improve our ability to leverage data and analytics and reach Humanas diverse associate population. + Create clear criteria and processes for content publishing in order to prioritize highest impact information. + Partner with cross-functional business partners on associate communications strategy and content criteria to ensure consistent, integrated approach. + Collaborate closely with external communications colleagues to ensure campaigns engage the associate audience and successfully build understanding of our business and customers. + Leverage data and analytics to increase readership and engagement SKILL SET + Bachelors degree in communications, public relations or related field + 8+ years of employee communications or public relations experience with proven expertise in developing communications strategies that drive results + Passion for emerging technology and enthusiasm for engaging, interactive communications + Adept at data and analytics to drive content and channel decisions + Demonstrated ability to independently plan, lead and implement multimedia comms projects + Ability to work under tight deadlines, multitask and deliver quality work under pressure + Exceptional written communications skills and deep experience as a content creator + Proactive, flexible and always seeking improvement and positive change + Ability to use discretion and possess exceptional judgement + Foster an open, inclusive and diverse community at Humana + Advanced skills using O365 suite, including Teams and SharePoint ADDITIONAL PREFERENCES + Proven experience managing the back end of an intranet + Advanced skills with Adobe creative suite, particularly Photoshop, InDesign and llustrator + Advanced project management skills with proven skills in large comms projects Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 About Us Mission: At Humana, our cultural foundation is aligned to helping members achieve their best health by delivering personalized, simplified, whole-person healthcare experiences.
