We are looking for an Accounting Intern to join the Property & Casualty Accounting team for a 10-12 week internship in Summer 2020. The intern will own numerous aspects of the accounting close process, reporting, and analyses as an integral member of the team. Interns are challenged to demonstrate their strengths and apply their knowledge to help us achieve our accounting department goals.



Position Responsibilities:



- Actively participate in the month-end close process for assigned areas of responsibility



- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations timely and accurately



- Assist with ad hoc projects, including process documentation and updates, as assigned



Position Qualifications:



- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting with an anticipated graduation date in Fall 2020 or Calendar Year 2021 or 2022



- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0



- Must be a full-time student (12 semester hours) attending an accredited four-year university

- Ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment



- Basic computer skills, specifically experience with Microsoft Excel
