Description The Communications Lead develops and coordinates lines of communication within the organization among employees. The Communications Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. Responsibilities This individual leads communications strategy for high priority, enterprise-wide change initiatives and major organizational shifts, including mergers & acquisitions. The individual is a strong strategic counselor and develops integrated communications plans that will have broad impact across the business, develops communications materials for segmented audiences, and supervises a team dedicated to creating positive energy around change, engaging employees and building trust. RESPONSIBILITIES + Lead change communications efforts that drive and reinforce positive change across the company + Build integrated communications strategies that support key business priorities + Work closely with senior leaders and change sponsors to influence change communications approach across the enterprise + Serve as a consultant for the roll-out of major organizational shifts helping to position changes appropriately and reach segmented internal audiences with locally relevant information + Create clear and consistent internal communications, creative multimedia content and compelling storytelling packages that reinforce Humanas brand and customer-centric approach + Build strong alignment with cross-functional colleagues on internal communications strategy and content prioritization. + Leverage data and analytics to inform and adjust strategy and implementation. SKILL SET + Bachelors degree in communications, public relations or related field + 10+ years of employee communications or public relations experience with proven expertise in change communications + Adept at data and analytics to drive content and channel decisions + Demonstrated ability to independently plan, lead and implement multimedia communications projects + Ability to work under tight deadlines, multitask and deliver quality work under pressure + Exceptional written communications skills and deep experience as a content creator + Proactive, flexible and always seeking improvement and positive change + Ability to influence + Foster an open, inclusive and diverse community at Humana + Advanced skills using O365 suite, including Teams and SharePoint ADDITIONAL PREFERENCES Education or Certification in Organizational Change Management Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 About Us Mission: At Humana, our cultural foundation is aligned to helping members achieve their best health by delivering personalized, simplified, whole-person healthcare experiences.
