CNC PROGRAMMER / SETTER / OPERATOR

PERMANENT DAYS

£14.50 - £16.00 PER HOUR

MAZATROL PROGRAMMING

Alecto Recruitment are working on behalf of a well known Precision Engineering compnay in the Gloucester are who seeking an experienced CNC Miller who has a strong programming background using Mazatrol software. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating machines to produce high-precision parts to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities:

Programming CNC machines using Mazatrol software
Setting and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts to tight tolerances
Ensuring all parts meet quality standards and specifications
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Maintaining and servicing machines to ensure they are operating at peak performance
Obtaining first-off inspections to ensure specifications are metExperience and Knowledge:

Qualified or proven experience as a CNC Miller with a strong programming background using Mazatrol software
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong knowledge of machine tools and their capabilities
Experience with a variety of materials, including metals, plastics, and composites
Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Experience using 5-Axis machines is desireable but not essentialThe client is offering a competitive salary of between £14.50 to £16.00 per hour on a day shift basis.
