Description Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Perioperative Services, this position is responsible for the administration of sterile processing including: quality of decontamination, cleaning & sterilization of surgical instruments, reprocess-able equipment and supplies in the hospital. Is also responsible for functional coordination of the department with other departments and outside resources. Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent required. Bachelors degree strongly preferred. Will accept experience in lieu of college. Eight years experience in sterile processing, supply inventory and/or equipment control is required. Five years of supervisory experience is required. One of three required: American Hospital Association, National Institute of Sterile Processing Distribution Technician, International Association of Hospital Central Service Management. CPR Required. Work Type: Full Time
