Fusion Resources are seeking a strong transport service Co-ordinator / administrator to work within a transport team for our client, who are based in York.

This position is based within the transport department, so previous experience within logistics, dealing with hauliers / transport or supply chain is Highly desired. This is a fast-paced role where no two days are ever the same, so candidates must be confident and able to prioritise a high work-load efficiently and professionally.

Key points of this role are:

* Dealing & liasing with UK imports/ exports.

* Ensuring necessary details are correct for customs, border crossing, delays etc

* Monitor all movements with transport by means of forward planning etc.

* Overseeing official paperwork for the office, including spreadsheets and tables

* Speaking via telephone with drivers and customers.

* Updating all delivery documentation.

* to identify, implement and deal with any problems whilst maintaining customer expectations.

* Taking incoming calls to the office to handle any queries or issues

* Supporting logistics team in administrative tasks.

* working with supply chain and procurement teams.

The successful candidate must be organised, have strong communication skills both verbally and written and have excellent IT skills.

This role is a WRH role initially, so requires facilities to carry out, such as Internet connection and a work space
