Job: Business Analyst
Salary: DOE (£40,000 - £48,000)
Location: Norwich

Our client, an award winning, dynamic UK-wide e-commerce organisation require a technical Business analyst to further enhance their delivery team.

The business, a long standing staple in UK marketplace are doing incredibly well, and despite the current climate, have enjoyed steady growth over the past 2 years. The evolution of the business, and a continuous quest for improvement have creates an exciting project pipeline for the foreseeable future.

The prime responsibility for the new role is to ensure the requirements of the business are identified, documented, analysed and progressed in a structured and planned way. You will work closely with the business to development these requirements into detailed specifications, and support the successful implementation of the changes required.

The key requirements for the post include:

Requirement capture through discussions, workshops and interview with internal and external stakeholders.
Translating these requirements into systems, process and business specifications.
Managing functional and non-functional requirements in a clear, concise solution ensuring relevance, testability and traceability.
Using industry standard tools for modelling and tracking when required.
Identifying, investigating and resolving problems using root cause analysis and recommending corrective measures.
Use of Rapid Impact Analysis, feasibility studies and options appraisals to highlight and deliver business opportunities.
Analyse, map and document activities, processes, procedures and organisational workflow.
Ensuring stakeholders are well informed with process, issues, risks and delivery timelines.
Working closely with delivery teams across the business to agree credible plans, manage, track and report milestones and risks to ensure effective delivery of business goals.
Working closely with Development and QA to ensure test plans are aligned to the user and business.The position is a key new hire for the company to ensure that the exciting pipeline of work is planned and delivered effectively, aligned to the user and business requirements, and has resilient procedures and documentation in place to track progress and ensure accountability.

The role would suit you if you have a strong track record as a Business analyst who has placed a key part in delivering business critical projects.

During the current pandemic, the role will be remote in nature, however in the future the position will be required to spend time in the Norwich based office, plus occasional travel to another UK site.
