Care Manager

Long established domiciliary care company is looking to recruit an experienced Care Manager in Sunderland. We are a leading service for people with diverse and sometimes complex needs who wish to stay in their own homes. Our vision is to help people live ordinary, independent and happy lives through extraordinary support.

Established some 16 years ago, we support over 250 customers in the community with the help over around 150 staff members, and have received a "good" CQC report rating year after year. We are proud of our people and passionate about our customers, we understand there is not a size fits all care plan, or a typical carer. As a growing company we are progressive with technology and keen to stay ahead of the game so we are looking for a like-minded manager to drive this business through person centred care and a passion for people.

Supported by a strong office team with over 100 years of experience between us, you will have confidence in the day to day management, allowing you to work on potential improvements and achieving the "outstanding" marker we are working towards.
Position Duration: Permanent

Salary / rate of pay : Competitive

Key Responsibilities;

* Manage the assessment and planning for people we support

* Manage, deliver & provide excellent services to the people we support with the focus on supporting each individual to live the life they choose

* Ensure all support is fully compliant with the Company’s statutory obligations and manage within agreed budgets

* Assist the Operation to meet agreed contract terms

* Provide line management support

* Be Accountable for overall operational performance

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

* S/NVQ Level 4 or equivalent is preferred or be working towards level 5

* Excellent communication and leadership skills

* Self-starter with attention to prompt timekeeping

* Organized with ability to meet deadlines and fulfil obligations generally

* Person centred approach to delivery of services

At least 3 years’ experience in the same or similar role is essential and you will need to demonstrate your proven knowledge and experience within a domiciliary setting . Additionally, you will need to show you have managed, improved, developed services and achieved excellent outcomes for people.
