Leading Medical Device/ Robotics Business

£55,000- £60,000+ Package

Excellent, newly created that will offer an opportunity to mix office and home based working throughout the week!! Our client, an industry leading Medical Device Manufacturer who are going through a significant period of growth and investment at their Reading facility, are looking to recruit a career driven Project manager to join their team.

The Role

Working closely with the Head of UK Projects (effectively operating as a number 2 in command), the successful candidate will be given full autonomy to manage multiple, end to end business critical and complex new product development projects in compliance with the ISO13485. The following responsibilities are associated with this job role but are not limited to:

Facilitate the timely scoping of key projects to determine success criteria appropriately balance need for business consensus Project Delivery

Provide periodic and accurate headline summaries for significant projects and an accurate predication of project trend

Maintain a detailed schedule throughout the project of the delivery of key project milestones, working proactively to minimise delay against agreed project timelines

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with consistency and against tight timelines.

Identify project risks in a structured way and proactively mitigate them

Innovatively use internal and external resource to efficiently deliver business value to appropriate quality standards

Proactively manage project change with the appropriate use of suitable project management methodologies Stakeholder Management

Dynamically adapt formal and informal communication strategy to stakeholders across business, ensuring every interaction balances business need with personal relationships

Proactively identify and implement appropriate project delivery process improvements to the PMO

The Person

5 years+ of experience leading end to end, technical Projects

You must have experience working in a manufacturing environment. Medical Device experience will naturally help but exposure to other sectors can just as easily be considered

There can be Mech/ elec/ Chemical Manufacturing processes involved, so cross functional experience in some of these areas will be required

Good technical and engineering understanding, with an ability to work closely cross functionally with these teams

Ability to lead and influence senior management

Ideally educated to degree level in engineering/ technical discipline
