We are looking for a Purchase Ledger Team Leader to join our growing business in Bolton to look after the day-to-day management of a team of Purchase Ledger Clerks to ensure all payment procedures are adhered to.

Key responsibilities;

Ensure that the team adhere to robust procedures for the management of risk and fraud prevention.
Ensure that the team proactively manage outstanding creditors on a regular basis, working with internal stakeholders to avoid late payments, including daily management of the Purchase Ledger workbench.
Weekly and monthly payment run processing.
Production and management of key KPI information.
Identify and implement efficiencies to processes on an ongoing basis.
Set up and maintain new accounts on both the purchase ledger and subcontract ledger.
Completion of Application forms for new accounts from suppliers.
Contract Sales Ledger Invoice Producing.
Production of sundry Sales Ledger invoices and post on Coins.
Credit Control for Sundry Sales Ledger, including Insphire.
Intercompany recharges.
Cover for Finance Assistant.The above list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope of the role.
