Support the sourcing manager in administrative duties, creating purchase orders, reviewing vendor agreements and any other tasks as needed.

Client Details

Our client is a manufacturer based in Sheffield.


Directly support sourcing manager administrative duties
Accurately and in a timely manner update sourcing data for management reporting
Responsible for purchase order creation of engineering NPI samples and capital expenditure
Provide sourcing support as needed specifically for NPI programmes
Expedite NPI / engineering purchase orders ensuring timely delivery
Direct support for the preparation, coordination and conclusion of RFQ's
Compile and coordinate project trackers and meeting minutes
Develop and maintain strong working vendor relationships
Review vendor agreements through regular review and maintain open lines of communications
Directly contribute towards the site savings budget as managed by the sourcing manager
Support sourcing manager with any needed vendor KPI data for business reviews
Conduct market research to support sourcing manager as needed
Provide support as needed for the broader EMEA sourcing strategy
Any other relevant sourcing tasksProfile

A-levels or equivalent required (HNC or higher preferred)
If not already studying then a desire to study CIPS
Sourcing experience in an equivalent role
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
An attitude for vendor negotiations with relevant entry level skills
Communication and organisation skills
Commercial awareness
Experience within a manufacturing environment
Stakeholder & relationship management
Analytical mindset
Working knowledge of Microsoft office particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Salary £24-27K DOE
