R13 are proudly assisting a leading organisation in their search for an ambitious and tenacious Business Development Manager. Within this role you will be driving client sales, managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing sales and handover to the account management team.

For this opportunity you will have previous business development experience selling marketing solutions into the B2B market and you will approach sales challenges in the ‘right way’, being fair, honest and always taking responsibility. Your duties will include:

* Understanding clients and fostering a partnership to solve their problems using the company’s solutions.

* Responsible for driving in new business, through arranging introductory meetings with your own qualified leads or carrying out consultative sales.

* Creating and developing a sales pipeline of clients.

* Developing a good rapport with clients.

* Ensuring smooth transition from business development to account management.

* Actively participating in product development, representing the client where possible and identifying new product opportunities.

You will have/be:

* Previous experience in a similar business development role.

* Proven track record of selling marketing solutions into the B2B market.

* The ability to build and maintain a good rapport with clients quickly.

* Attention to detail in all forms of communication.

* Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.

* Open, honest, a good team player, but someone who can manage themselves and who is accountable, and can be trusted

* A flexible attitude to work and a positive an adaptable approach to problem solving.

This is a full time, permanent opportunity offering £40,000 per annum + excellent on target earnings. Benefits include 25 days holiday + bank holidays and free gym membership with great progression opportunities available.
