Job Purpose
To manage the Go To Market activities of a Mobile vendor set, encompassing product range along with supporting services and propositions, in ways which facilitate the delivery of all agreed KPI's for the Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities
* Own the delivery of key KPIs on a selected vendor(s)
* Be the champion of your vendor within Exertis, work collaboratively both internally and externally, and ensure a strong connection network exists across both companies.
* Work with vendors to own, agree and implement a strategic business plan which aligns to the vendors aspirations and our budgeted expectations. This should encompass the full Go To Market cycle with a planning, execution and review phase.
* Consider associated services (trade in, finance, leasing etc) within the above, and work with the marketing team to optimise the channel execution element of the plan.
* Maintain positive relationships with vendors, whilst also balancing this with tough negotiation to create wins for the Exertis business.
* Identify sales opportunities through a combination of data sources including market share, internal historical sales analysis, and open communication with relevant sales teams. Work with relevant parties where support may be needed to win deals, this could be price support, customer training, technical support from the vendor etc.
* Work closely with the purchasing function on consolidation of customer intake forecasts. Ensure stock has been ordered from the vendor in line with customer requirement, whilst maintaining a close eye on internal stock KPIs. Identify any aged stock concerns and take ownership for resolution.
* Attend regular finance reviews to track the overall P&L position. This includes profit from sales, commercial expenditure, and calculation of any agreed rebates.
* Proactively manage claims to ensure these are paid to us in a timely basis and optimise the cash flow / working capital position.
* Ensure reporting is supplied to vendors as required.
* Forecast and present expected vendor performance against key KPIs.

Person Specification (skills, knowledge and experience required)
Above all you will need to be able to demonstrate excellent working relationships both internally and with Mobile Vendors. You will already stand out from the crowd in your approach and determination to succeed. 

In addition, you will need to:

* Have a strong desire to drive your Vendor's business, growing both revenue and profit
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and presentation
* Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
* Demonstrate a strategic mindset to deliver value for your Vendor's across the short - mid - long term. This will encompass full end to end 'Go To Market' planning and execution
* Ideally possess good Mobile product knowledge and understanding of the market
* Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the distribution model
* Be confident and tenacious
* Be flexible and adaptable

* Demonstrate high literacy and numeracy
* Possess good Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
* Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the Group Business Conduct Guidelines
