Corporate Accountant

The Corporate Accountant is responsible for performing a variety of

accounting functions requiring a basic understanding of accounting

principles. The functions include performing account reconciliations,

ensuring accurate recognition and reporting of accounts, ensuring

compliance with U.S. GAAP, and provide recommendations for accounting

process improvement. The Corporate Accountant participates in review

of internal financial statements and provides assistance necessary to

ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the accounting function.

In this role you will:

* Prepare journal entries in accordance with Company and accounting

policies and established deadlines.

* Assist with monthly close of all practices in an accurate and

timely manner.

* Complete balance sheet reconciliations with outstanding items

researched and appropriate action taken in a timely manner.

* Review and analyze financial statements for accuracy and


* Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP.

* Generate reports and account analysis monthly.

* Maintain control procedures to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP

and Company policies.

* Evaluate and improve internal accounting processes, ensuring that

processes align with Company policy and provide recommendations

for efficiencies.

* Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested by management.

* Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as assigned to


What you bring to the table:


Minimum of 2 years experience in an accounting role or public

accounting firm.


Bachelor s degree required: Accounting or business related



CPA license preferred

* Experience with SAP preferred

* Strong understanding of U.S.GAAP

* Knowledge and understanding of (accounting) principles, policies

and (business) concepts

* High degree of competency with Microsoft Excel

* Blackline experience preferred and a plus

* Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

* Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy and ability to work

in a multi- task/functional environment

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Good analytical and forward thinking skills

* Ability to exercise good judgement and deal with confidential
