Description

Leading multi-sector machining business is seeking a Sliding Head focused CNC Operator to work a fixed night shift pattern with opportunities for additional hours overtime and excellent development opportunities. You will produce high quality parts for the motorsport sector.

Commutable from: Worcester, Cheltenham, Evesham, Gloucester, Stratford-Upon-Avon

Salary: £ 18,000 - £ 20,000 p.a. + Overtime + Pension

The Role

CNC Operator on Sliding Head machines required with experience on milling and/or turning machines to work on a fixed night shift of (Apply online only) with opportunities for extensive overtime and development. You will set and operate machines, load machines and undertake visual inspection of the parts produced. You will work to strict standards of quality and accuracy as part of a team in an extremely busy machining operation supplying motorsport and world class engineering businesses.

The Candidate

The successful applicant will be able to work fixed night shifts and support overtime requirements on an occasional basis. You will have machining experience and be able to operate milling and/or turning centres. You will have previously produced parts to fine tolerances within some level of inspection experience using manual tools such as Verniers, Micrometers etc. The Nightshift CNC Operator role offers excellent training and development.
