Braxfield Recruitment are a leading recruitment agency working within the social housing sector. We have been appointed by a housing provider based in London who are currently looking to recruit an experienced Sales Progression Officer on an interim contract.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an excellent customer service to customers through the sales progression process from signed off reservation through to legal completion of their new home. You will support the throughout the conveyancing of their home, whilst ensuring that business target is achieved, and an excellent customer service is provided.
Other duties as a Sales Progression Officer will include:
* Delivering excellent customer service throughout all sales progression activities.
* Driving exchanges and completions in line with KPI’s and Business targets.
* Carrying out regular phone and email contact with customers to maintain high levels of communication throughout their journey.
* Progressing the sales from signed off reservation to 28 day Exchange and legal completion.
* Raising initial legal documentation and working with the sales and development team to respond to solicitor enquiries.
* Ensuring lender valuations are booked and chasing speedy receipt of mortgage offers.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with our framework and panel solicitors.
* Building and maintaining positive relationships with Independent Mortgage Advisors, Surveyors, Aftercare teams and other related third parties.
* Preparing case files and liaising with the Co Sec on signing, sealing and governance.
* Meeting departmental deadlines for exchanges and completions in line with KPIs.
* Working to best practice in conveyancing processes, in line with legal and industry regulations and guidelines.
* Supporting the Customer Home Experience team for a smooth handover for their move in strategy and key collection process including personalisation of service.
* Keeping internal systems up to date.
* Liaising with Co Sec on signing and sealing and governance matters.
To be considered for the position of Sales Progression Officer you must have the following:
* Min of 1 years’ experience in sales progression for new build private or shared ownership properties.
* Experience in a busy sales environment.
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written to a wide variety of audiences.
* Excellent time management and attention to detail.
* Experience of meeting short and longer term sales related target and completion deadlines.
* Strong customer service skills and personal integrity and credibility with a proven ability and desire to collaborate with colleagues.
